Meet the Leadership

Jim Koehler
President

Jim joined the agency in 1988 and took over as company president in 1990. He is the agency's chief strategist and architect of many successful marketing and advertising campaigns. For more than sixteen years, Jim has been involved with the agency's healthcare clients, providing advice and counsel, creating strategic marketing plans, writing brochure and ad copy, and conducting business development.

Under Jim's leadership, the agency has grown to become one of the leading medical marketing agencies in the Rocky Mountain Region, serving clients throughout the U.S. and internationally. Jim has also volunteered his time and marketing expertise to the American Cancer Society, Boulder County and Rocky Mountain Region chapters, and is a member of the Colorado Healthcare Communicators marketing organization. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Marketing.

Dan Snyders
Vice President, Public Relations Supervisor

Dan has been with Armada for more than eight years. He has been responsible for highly successful public relations campaigns for medical technology and preventive imaging companies as well as independent physicians and healthcare centers. Dan has more than 10 years of public relations experience and 15 years of broadcast journalism experience. As a journalist, Dan wrote for the Associated Press broadcast wire, contributed stories for network radio, and served as news director at radio stations in Kansas and Colorado. As a medical marketing professional, Dan has worked closely with physicians in numerous medical specialties and disciplines, including cardiology, radiology, neurology, pediatrics and plastic surgery. His writing capabilities include medical and healthcare topics ranging from the highly technical to consumer-oriented. He is a graduate of The Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Julie Schlegelmilch, CBC
Director of Client Services

Julie joined the agency in January 2001, bringing with her a solid marketing and project management background in several B2B fields including medical technology. With a degree in public relations from University of Texas at San Antonio, Julie has effectively managed both marketing and PR efforts and teams for small- to medium-sized businesses. Recently, she has managed medical equipment, diagnostic imaging and interventional technology accounts. Julie assists her clients in both an advisory role and as a supervisor to ensure the accurate and on-time delivery of project work.
